Index movers · top-100 cohort

Top-100 movers — the index that actually matters.

We focus this page on the vendors that were in the rlegaltech100 at the start or end of the period. That's the small cohort (~108 entries in a typical month — the steady 100 plus the handful that climbed in or fell out) that signals where real momentum sits. Snapshot: 2026-04.

Methodology

  • Cohort filter. Per Alex 2026-06-09 — this page shows only vendors that were in the top-100 at the start OR end of the period (~108 entries / month). The broader rlegaltech500 cohort is at /rlegaltech500/movers/.
  • Rank source. Composite index score from independent public signals, power-law scaled. Computed monthly. No vendor can pay to move.
  • Movement threshold. ±20 places to surface. Below that, week-to-week noise can dominate.
  • Brand-collision filter. Vendors whose brand name is dominated by non-legaltech meanings (e.g. "Onit" as a food brand) are flagged GENERIC and measured on disambiguated signals only.
