It pulls legislative and regulatory data from a large number of government bodies along with news and social signals, and surfaces what’s changing so that corporate teams can assess impact. What We Found

Abstract was founded in 2019 out of a university thesis project. In October 2025 the company announced a $4.8M raise to expand the platform. It reports having worked with more than 200 organisations. Note that several unrelated companies use the “Abstract” name, including a Sketch/design version-control product (acquired by Adobe) and a security platform — this entry is specifically the regulatory-intelligence company at abstract.us.
