Vendors addressing fewer pain points get higher focus scores. A specialist serving 2 pain points scores 5x higher than a generalist serving 50. This is 1/√(total pain points).
Evidence Weight
Vendor-pain point links backed by case studies, reviews, and Reddit threads score higher than unverified claims. High-confidence evidence = 1.0x, medium = 0.7x, low = 0.4x.
Global Signal
Baseline brand strength from branded search volume and LinkedIn followers, power-law scaled. Prevents unknown vendors from outranking real tools by default.
Geo Strength
When viewing jurisdiction rankings, vendors with stronger regional search presence score higher. A UK-focused tool outranks a US giant for UK pain points.
