What It Does
ESI Analyst is a cloud-based platform for processing and analysing modern electronic data in eDiscovery and digital investigations. It ingests data types that traditional eDiscovery tools handle poorly — text messages, chat, email, social media, geolocation, and computer-forensic data — and helps legal teams, forensic investigators, and government agencies build a case timeline. A companion product, ESI Desktop, ingests mobile device data directly from Cellebrite UFDR exports.
What We Found
ESI Analyst was established in 2018 and was acquired by eDiscovery vendor CloudNine on 25 August 2021, which positions ESI Analyst’s modern-data capabilities alongside CloudNine’s traditional eDiscovery tools. It serves litigation-support teams handling non-document data sources.
