Jigsaw
What it is
What It Does
Jigsaw is a legal diagramming tool that uses AI to build corporate structure charts, organisation charts and timelines for deals, cases and transactions. It is aimed at lawyers who would otherwise assemble these visuals manually in PowerPoint. The vendor positions it for corporate/M&A work (structure diagrams) and litigation (its Timelines product for laying out case events).
What We Found
Jigsaw was founded by a former Akin Gump attorney and Litera executive. According to Law.com (April 2024), it raised a $15M Series A from Exor Ventures, KKR India Asset Finance and Morgan Stanley, bringing total funding reported at $25M. The same coverage describes clients among top-tier U.S. and U.K. firms. The vendor’s own claim of being “60x faster than PowerPoint” is a marketing figure we have not tested.
Who It’s For
Corporate / M&A — Structure and org charts for deal documentation are the core use case.
Litigation — The Timelines product targets case-event mapping for litigators and trial prep.
