What it is

What It Does

Quickbase is a no-code application platform for building custom business apps without programming. It is a general-purpose work-management tool, not a legal product, but legal teams use it to build case- and matter-tracking apps, intake forms and document-organisation workflows. Third-party add-ons (e.g. ABC Legal Case Manager and tools from Juiced Technologies) extend it for legal case management, time tracking and invoicing.

What We Found

Quickbase was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. It was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in January 2019 and continues to operate under its own name. The vendor reports more than 6,000 customers. Its integrations page lists connections including Procore, Auth0 and Zapier, and it maintains a “Legal” category in its app exchange.
